Arrgh

So. Run once since last time. Discovered am gaining weight (srsly) and need to find something to chew when I'm bored instead of eating like a fat kid. Also, no more desserts for me near bedtime because I can't go to sleep with that at the top, so to speak. Feh.
And I didn't realize how much more active I was last summer than I am this one. D:

Running Check In June 23, 2011

Ran at the ungodly hour of 5:30am. Unfortunately drank a tiny bit of water before I ran, which decided to kick my stomach halfway through. So I got, I dunno, 3/4 of a mile in.

Ran the other day, did ok. Don't remember distance.

Running Check In March 12, 2011

Ran the usual route, did ok. Didn't run as much as I would have liked to, totalling, I think about two-thirds of a mile. Bleh. Felt good, other than my lungs and the fact that I ate too soon before the run. Also did a tiiiiiny bit of yoga (like, three poses), and I'm looking for an audio guide. Not using MyPlate still, though.

So much for all that

Obviously, I haven't been checking in. I've run twice, I think, since my last post and when I looked at my weight last, it was 179.5. That was a while ago and I'm a little scared to look now.
But! I'm adding yoga for sure! New laptop has good sound and loud enough speakers.

I am a bad, bad girl.

Weight, last I looked - 181.0

So, I've run once since my last post and probably won't be for a while, since the shin splints are acting up like hell. Must bike or something.

New Year's Resolutions:
  • use myplate daily
  • do something besides run at least twice a week
  • run once or twice a week, as weather/shins permit
  • no sweets or fried things, except maybe once a month
  • eat more veggies

End of Week One - Christmas Edition

So, I ran like once. On Sunday. Because I am lazy and like sleeping until one pm. Ugh.


Weigh in: 181.1
Dammit. The muscle is still there, but I has been teh lazy and eating badly.

Promises:
  • Run two times a week and post here about it.
  • Bike at least once a week
  • If I ever get those skates, roller blade once a week.
  • Pay the fuck attention to upper body stuff.
  • Eat way more vegetables and more fruit than I do currently. Plan menus. Spend one day a week cooking meals for the week (yes, I am that lazy).
This starts tomorrow.

Considering that it's the beginning of the holidays, I'm going to count this one as a draw. Can't WAIT until break, because it'll be half running, baking, and writing (and half whatever housecleaning I can't wriggle out of).

I am not amused. I am a fat kid and I need to stop being one, for pete's sake. I also have not gone back to keeping track of my calories because I'm a moron.

Did run though, and it was better than my last one.

Monday Run

Did it! Lost some stamina, I think. Need to work on that. Also I need a better arrangement for my mp3 and phone. I kept dropping them, to my dismay.

Also did some sit ups and push ups.
